WiPs and DH

I say this is about works-in-progress, but it’s mostly about Resolving a Misunderstanding and where it’s going now that Book 7, Deathly Hallows, is out and we have more canon facts to work with. First, let me say that Deathly Hallows did not kill my Muse. My Muse did briefly consider changing Albus’s back-story to match what we learn in Deathly Hallows, but quickly discarded that idea. Resolving a Misunderstanding has been in the works for at least seven months, actually rattling around in my head longer than that, and has had a complete outline for almost as long. While there may (or may not!) be some similarities between DH-canon!Albus and RaM!Albus, they are coincidental and I hope no one is confused; despite any possible superficial similarities between the two, I have decided not to rework the outline and possibly mangle the progression that I have set up for the story. It’s conceivable that I might be able to revise it to include DH-canon without mangling the plot, but I’ve grown attached to the story I’m writing, and I am going to keep my outline and the 125 year timeline intact as is. I think I would lose all interest in finishing the story if I tried to make it match DH. Resolving a Misunderstanding will remain, then, DH Spoiler-Free!
