How do you like the new theme? Is it easier to read, easier to navigate, easier on the eye?
Should I keep it or go back to the old one? (I was getting a bit tired of the quirky no-caps headers, and the dark look, myself.)
Also, should I do away with the sticky posts? That is, keep the posts, but not make them sticky? (The list of all MMADfan fics and the bare-bones list of MMADfan fics are stickies at the top of the front page, but they’re also listed in the sidebar, so maybe they don’t need to be sticky.)
*ETA 22 Jan 2010* Okay, did away with the stickies. Apparently, they’re confusing and give the appearance that the blog’s not been updated since 2007, despite the instructions to scroll down for more recent posts. Hopefully, people will see the various links in the sidebar and find what they’re looking for!

Thanks, Hogwarts Duo! I’m glad you like the change. The graphics looked good on the darker background, but I was finding it annoying to read and kind of messy looking. Hopefully, people will still find the story links by using the sidebar, but it seemed that the sticky posts appearing at the top of the front page were giving the wrong impression.
Maybe I should do something using a separate page — a “welcome page” — with links to the recent posts archive (which is the only page I have now, other than the “about” page) as well as to the more essential information and pointing out the links available in the sidebar. I don’t know. I’ll think about that one!

Definitely easier to read! Yay! Not familiar enough w/ WordPress to know what options would be best to point folks to the linkies, but if folks weren’t understanding the sticky concept, then it’s good to change.
I’ve been reading along in LVS–need to go back and review. Wish my life were even half as exciting as Severus’s new life (but not his old life!).
