Aside

Settled on a look . . .

And Coraline it is.

After letting the blog sit for a few days, pretty much not tweaking anything more, I’ve decided that I like the current theme, layout, and colors. If anyone has any suggestions, please feel free to let me know!

One of the nice features of Coraline is the blogger’s ability to change from a light background to a dark one, and to use custom colors, so if I get tired of this sort of parchment-y color, I can change it, even go dark if I am in the mood for that.

For a bit of fun, take a look at the widgets in the footer with the hottest posts and hottest clicks. They’re based on about a two-day average of hits and clicks, according to WordPress, though they can take a little time for them to update. It’s fun to see them change, anyway.

Maybe I’ll have some time later today to write . . . wouldn’t that be nice? 😉

  1. I really like the way the site looks now, and I’ll have to check out the new widgets! 🙂

  2. Thanks, Regina Demonica!

I like it, as well — though I am still pondering getting rid of the “Recent Posts” widget, which currently sits in the left sidebar. It kind of extends the scrolling, and I’m not sure whether people look at it or not.

Of course, the “sensible” thing to do would be to get rid of the links widgets with the non-fanfic links, but those are some of the ones I’m irrationally fond of! LOL!

I’m glad you like the “Hottest Posts” and “Hottest Clicks” widgets. Of course, I see detailed stats on my admin dashboard, but somehow it’s a bit more fun this way. 😀

    Thanks for the comment!
