Want to share some Harry Potter fanfics with someone, but want to avoid any suggestive or mature content? Here is a list that might help you find some kid-friendly stories. Read any story through first to make sure that it suits your requirements!

- “A Christmas for Aberforth”: short story, one-shot; humor, fluff, family; Albus and Minerva spend Christmas Eve with Albus’s brother Aberforth. (K+/PG for hints of romance, should be fine for most ages; also available here on this site and on ffnet)

- “The Sorting of Suzie Sefton”: short story, four chapters; humor, drama, AU. Young Muggle-born witch Suzie Sefton is invited to attend Hogwarts. Accompany her as she finds her wand at Ollivander’s, takes the train to Hogwarts, and is Sorted into her new House. AU, not compliant with Deathly Hallows. Also references events from other AU stories which are rated higher, but can be read as a stand-alone fic.
