Summary: Siofre has set into motion plans that will raise up one man and improve his life—if he takes advantage of his new opportunities—and bring ruin to another, at least temporarily. Drusus Prince is a dangerous wizard, however, and Siofre worries about the success of her scheme and the risks inherent should it go wrong.
